Where are all the resignation-at-the-worst-time baddies at?!
It's never the right time to forfeit your position, because you're always going to be met with disappointment, surprise, or anger. Your workplace can feel happy for you, but sometimes, it doens't end well.
If you're working at a company that doesn't really care about the well-being of its workers, then you should go right ahead and resign at the worst possible moment. They couldn't care less about you, so why would you try to soften the blow for them? To them, everyone is replaceable. If that's the case, this resignation won't hurt them one bit!

You know that feeling when you hope and pray for a job as you go through the interview process? It seems like this job is the only thing you've ever wanted and will want for the rest of your life. Everyone feels that way when they're applying for work after having been out of it for so long. Money can do that to a person.
Then, reality sets in, and we're left wondering how we could have ever been in a position to pray about working for the rest of our lives… That's just the way things go, baby.
